Information from the HSE about the National ME Clinical Guideline Project is now live on the HSE CDI microsite.
This marks a historic step by the HSE, creating long-overdue space for the ME community to be recognised, involved, and heard, and to have a meaningful voice at the table where guidelines are developed.
Importantly, this resource also provides patients with an official reference they can share with doctors, services, or others who may not understand or recognise ME. After years of inconsistency and denial, this represents a vital step forward.
If you don’t remember the details, tell people to search ‘HSE ME’ - it will take them straight to the official HSE site. Please see that site via the link:
NB: There may be times when you may not be able to reach the ME page on the microsite, for example, when the HSE site is under repairs/construction or updates are taking place.
